Fiddelium 2024-25
Fiddelium is a vibrant ensemble for young string players aged 12-19, fostering musical growth through exciting public performances. From intimate senior homes to the grand stage of the Port Theatre, Fiddelium delivers fun and accessible music for all. Develop your skills with weekly rehearsals, including sectionals for senior members, and private lessons.
Folk Band 2024-25
Folk band is an all ages group playing traditional fiddle music arrangements for a variety of musical instruments including Fiddles, Violas Cellos, Guitars, etc.

Bursaries and Instrument Library 

Part of our mandate is to promote music education and support families looking to learn how to play traditional fiddle music. The Nanaimo Fiddle Society bursary program has two components.
